Daikin Europe NV had record sales of €5.2 billion in the year to March 31, a 20% increase over the previous year, thanks to strong heat pump demand throughout Europe. According to reports, sales of domestic heat pumps have increased by more than 50%, outpacing the market.

Despite continuous global issues like a continued lack of components, supply chain breakdowns, the European energy crisis, excessive inflation, and diminished purchasing power, Daikin states that "significant" sales increase was achieved. Daikin credits its recent investments in European production capacity for its enhanced market share. Daikin Europe's robust growth in 2022 surpasses the onerous goals of its five-year strategic Fusion 25 strategy, despite difficult economic headwinds.
