MTA, an Italian producer and supplier of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, has been bought by Trane Technologies. Process chillers and the company's growing rental and services operations, according to Trane, will enhance its commercial HVAC capabilities in important markets. MTA states that it can produce 13,500 systems annually at its two manufacturing facilities in Tribano and Conselve, where it employs about 500 people.

The turnover is about €90 million, of which 75% is done in the Eurozone and 80% is for export. The major nations include the USA, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. With the help of its network of authorised representatives, MTA is present in more than 80 different nations. Australia, France, Germany, Spain, and the United States are all home to subsidiaries of the Group.
